Hello, I am a new collector and i just joined this website my friend told me about. I was thinking about sending this coin to get it professionally graded. If anyone could give me an opinions or comments about the coin, I'd appreciate it greatly. I am happy to join this community. Thank you got for your time and consideration.

morgans aren't my series...that being said
unless there is a sentimental reason behind your 1897
it's not a coin i would have graded
you'd added about $25 into it and i'm really not sure it would be wise to do so
are you soley into morgans
or share diverse scattered interest's

Your dollar is what most would call a "slider". Looks great but is not MS. Nice AU and probably not
worth the grading fees. Keep it as is and buy a graded one if you need a graded one!
