Post some more CircCams!
For the uninitiated, "CircCam" is short for "Circulation Cameo" (or "Circulated Cameo", if you prefer). This is a coin with darker fields and lighter devices, sort of like a Cameo proof, but as a result of circulation to the higher points of the design.
When we discuss CircCams, we're usually discussing silver coins. There are, however, some copper and nickel CircCams out there, though it is difficult to find appealing examples.
Here is a copper CircCam. In hand, the surfaces are not nearly so granular as they appear in the photo.
I considered this coin to be problem free for the purposes of my last album collection.
It is also my October giveaway coin.

Here is another copper CircCam. And yes- problem free. As you can see, PCGS gave it a straight VF20 grade.

that half cent truly is a neat one there
it'd kinda be neat if a respected grading outfit would label them for what they are too
this can probably sneak in under such designation...it's kinda on a border...i'd think it'd be a just miss cir-cam

I think practically every piece posted here so far epitomizes what a circulated coin should look like.
@lasvegasteddy: in belated response to your 1827 dime in post #5, I'd say that one isn't a "just missed" CircCam. It makes the cut, even if it isn't a "black and white" CircCam, contrast-wise.
Since it seems I'm upholding the difficult task of posting the non-silver CircCams here so far, why not an ancient bronze "DirtCam"?
Troas, Birytis: bronze AE8, ca. 300 BC.
Obverse: head of Kabeiros.
Reverse: a club (maybe Hercules' club?)
From a lost ancient city in Asia Minor, known only by its coinage today.
Not a bad little coin for 26 bucks, eh?
PS- @kaz: let me know if you ever wanna sell that 1807 DB half, OK?

Netherlands (Gelderland): "St. John" type gold gulden (florin) of Arnold van Egmond, ca. 1423-1472
Obverse: St. John the Baptist, standing and facing, "S.IOHANNES-BABTISTA" (lion).

Some excellent crusties all around.....
That 71 half of mine actually came from my wife's grandfathers meager collection. I replaced several pieces in my 7070 with his coins. Most of what he collected was circulated (and possibly cleaned at some point) so I keep them for the sentimental value.
The Roosie came from a local convenience store a couple months back...first silver in awhile and just happened to fit the theme of the post.0 -

Those're all nice Busties, but that 1811 half really has "the" look.
Of course I had to look at that 1795 dollar again. I think it is imprinted on my retinas now.
