Got any black beauties?

Apparently not one of the "missing" ANACS alpha-numeric tiny slabs, but it's one of my coolest alpha-numerics.
I call her my black beauty, though I'm not sure I can really describe her color. She's not mottled despite how the images look. The darkness is uniform all over and underneath she's totally cartwheel luster. It's like a really deep iridescent purple with, stay with me here, dark peach and burnt orange, maybe a little forest green ringing the periphery. Like they minted her in metallic graphite. I'd love to see what Phil or someone with actual photographic talent could do with her.
She's not for everyone, but I think she's a beautiful contrast to your average blast white or even rainbow morgans. Do you have a uncirculated black beauty? Cool or pass?

All these silver coins most likely didn't leave the mint looking like that. The Jefferson nickels did leave the mint that way.

Normally I don't like these "black coins". But seeing your BEAUTIFUL cameo "black" coin really is sweet to the eye! Nice coin dude.

Sold a couple of them, but a few sat in inventory for a few years, losing money (duh) One day, I decided to open one of them and to my surprise there's a coin loose , outside of it's capsule, resting happily on the blue felt padding that protects the capsules in the case.

No doubt.… One $ … for All Saints Day.
Sure, if you don't mind me resurrecting your thread.
I know, I don't like the verdigris on the rev either. 👎🏻 😫
Three black beauties I have compared to a normal nickel.

@Namvet69- Go back to 1969 where you came from!! 😂 🤣 I'll meet you there!! 🤣
I think this proof V nickel might fall into the
Black beauty" category. In hand, it is quite dark, gun metal gray with a hint of rose toning. Very unusual, and that's why I like it.
For contrast, most of my collection looks more like this:

I must be old too. I saw the title, immediately brought back some memories.
Easy to spot amongst, otherwise, BU Jeffersons.

On the contrary, Google is not your friend.

Hard to believe those and Quaaludes were both legal in the 60's/early 70's, for losing weight and fighting depression. Guess the manufacturer knew what they were doing, lol.
Back on topic, I also appreciate the rosey toning develops on V nickels as well as some Buffs. Peace Roy
