question on authenticity help?

I have this set that I'm going to sell. The text describing the ike silver dollar on coinflation still confuses me because the clad look exactly the same.

Dont' want to break the plastic to weigh the coins to ensure they are the 40% silver.

Looks like I have the Type I which is larger thicker letters. And in the individual sealed capsule so I think that's all I can do for verification other than open the capsule and break it.

    Yep, the edge should look the same as comparing a 40% half to a clad half. Also if you take a thin tissue like a Kleenex and lay it over a silver coin it will appear white, a clad coin won't. Cool little known trick.

    The capsules don't look like they open. But moot point now. My wife noticed me fiddling and said;
    "I've been wanting a set like that for a long time."

    I tried to explain they look exactly like the clad set I gave her and she forgot, then I gave her another set and she forgot.

    Doesn't matter now anyway. I no longer have possession of them. In a couple of years I'll say, those are the ones
    I gave you, but she'll have forgotten.

    Couple of years after I'm gone, one of the kids will say to her; Isn't that the set Tom gave you? and she'll say;
    Tom who?

    - Glad I didn't take the Gold out! Whew...

    all mint capsules will open, usually from the edge using a razor knife to get them started. Tough though, almost like they are vacuum sealed.

    I have one of those sets, and I tried to open the capsules a year ago. I'm pretty sure that the capsules were fused shut because I couldn't take the coins out without fracturing the capsules.

    Okay,

    first off, I can tell by the color its 40%, secondly, the capsules that these come in are sealed and not openable, and the clads don't come in these.
