    Yes, and I started collecting them a few years ago. I can't tell you how many times I could have sold my NGC 1882 Carson City Dollar in MS-64 bearing a 1892CC label to folks at shows who buy the label and NOT the coin.

    Crazy mistakes! I can't help but be critical of such things. After all, they're not dealing with junk in this business. They're dealing with items that are of historical significance,
    incredible monetary value, and if neither of those, important to the people that own them. There should be no mistakes and each coin positioned exactly right in the holder.

    Anyway, danglen, that's a very nice coin!

    Need the following OBW rolls to complete my 46-64 Roosevelt roll set:
    1947-P & D; 1948-D; 1949-P & S; 1950-D & S; and 1952-S.
    Any help locating any of these OBW rolls would be gratefully appreciated!

    There is really no excuse for this happening. The last step before sending the item to shipping should be to verify date, mint and grade.

    You can rationalize all you want......but there is really no excuse.

    This was mine once; made it myself. I always wondered if it was a mechanical error? Obviously on reconsideration the graders thought so. Someone netted some cash. I can't imagine anyone cracking it expecting an upgrade.
