link didn't work for me but, ya, if I had a dollar for every pie-in-the-sky auction item
I`ve seen, I`d have like, a TON of dollars.

Right. Me thinks that even if it were an MS69, it still wouldn't be anywhere close to that asking price.

Saved this one to my watch list.
I found a New Hampshire with no mint mark.

    It should be worth at least . . . Hummm . . . 40k ! ! ! image

Reminds me of a line from "A Funny THing Happened On The Way To The Forum." Somebody offers Zero Mostel a glass of wine, and he looks at the bottle and says "Was One a good year?"

I wonder if PCGS would even grade this filled die. Probably not.

I put a snipe bid on it, so I hopefully can get it at the asking price.

I remember this like this exact coin on Ebay like 2 years ago when stopped using Ebay. At that time I think he was asking like 90k so this is a bargain!

I do remember messaging the seller then and saying nicely that I am not sure who told him that insane value but it was just not even close to reality. Don't think got any message back.

Are you sure the seller is asking enough? I mean, ask $160K then discount it 50% it becomes a steal!

I can't believe that person is asking so much for a coin with such a small problem/error!

I invite you to visit my numismatic eBay store https://ebay.com/str/numismaticswithkenny
  • Kenny if you as a 12yo can see this plainly many others will as well. You seem to have a good eye and grasp on things. It is good to see a YN like you on the board and to see/hear things from your point of view.
