2014p doubled die cent - Show Me the Penny!

I've been looking around on different auction websites and haven't seen many 2014p doubled die cents offered for sale or any "Eureka" posts here about discovering multiples in a bank box.

Has anyone been searching bank boxes with any positive results to report? I've only seen a few sold and those were pocket change quality not mint state BU samples. I think they may be

more rare than suspected and would be fantastic to find, especially in mint condition. I know they're not as sexy as other doubled dies but they still can turn heads I think. image

The be honest I (nor anybody I know) haven't been looking for them. Even if I found one by happenstance, I would still put it in my change bowl.

Generally the coins wind up in a specific region

What region were they initially found?

Anyone who finds one and does not want it such as crypto, I will gladly take it off your hands.

I know the original discovery was in Florida. Don't know where the others were found.
Also, this thread will probably quickly devolve into childish banter for and against this doubled die. Ive found that this forum is not a good place to discuss varieties like this one, as most of the people who will take the time to respond aren't interested or knowledgeable in the error/variety field of numismatics. You'll be happier heading over to the Lincoln cent resource when it comes to topics like this one.
In fact, the whole discovery of this doubled die unfolded in a thread over there.
    Good luck finding one!

Too hard to see to look through a box of 2500 for my liking. I will stick with the 09's, thank You.

There's no difficulty in seeing this

Notice the depressions above the date, as if the hub was dragged into the final position. Interesting

for a modern, that is a nice spread. from what i read, we wouldn't have such large ddo/ddr etc after 1992. i think we all know at this point, that was just plain nonsense.

and i am glad, for us. image
