Note toning splotch patterns on the left side from the star through 'UN' of 'UNITED'
And on the upper right side look at the toning splotch patterns through 'AMER', See especially the downward sloping small splotch (including the toning dot at the top) running from the upper serif of 'E' almost to the upright of the 'R'. This appears to be conclusive -- they are the same coin.

Why are you asking the question?
Because if the two coins are the same there will be only three known (R-8) instead of the currently accepted total of four known (Hi R-7).

Fair enough. I suggest you contact NGC or Heritage and ask them. I would be interested in hearing the answer they give you.
