Correct. And everyone now says they miss Bear. He was banned from this form for posting too much. Frankly I don't think it is good netiquette to judge another based on how often he posts. If someone is enjoying the hobby, let them do so!

All I know is he likes the pink gloves and wristbands worn by NFL players during the season and that he is a huge fan of NBA commissioner Adam Silver. That, and he thinks Romo should be in the HOF.

I don't know who has the highest post count, or how long it will take for anyone to surpass that count.
And personally , in my opinion, the U.S. Coin forum is starting to suck like ebay. Even a "YOU SUCK worthy cherry pick " is scrutinized as "criminal activity" by some members of this society.

IIRC, Bear was for a while kinda flooding the board with OT goofy posts when he might have been temporally booted. Kinda like the original subject of this thread using the board like it's his own personal facebook or twitter with a bunch of OT goofy threads but different. image

Thanks man. It is a surprisingly easy and a very inexpensive sport that actually pays for itself with the freshest seafood you can get.

I have lived in So CA my whole life but only found this sport 3 years ago when I turned 49. I am in way better shape now and hove lost over 30 pounds.

Plus is is super fun, relaxing, exciting, and every trip is different. You get to hang out with whales, dolphins, sharks, and unfortunately seals.

As a bonus you can get more than enough Kayak Lobster for you and your family as it is even Easier than kayak fishing.

For my full fishing report and to find out more about kayak fishing, check out this link and then website:

you missed the point of those posts.

Apparently it was attempted "what's good for the goose is good for the gander" type stuff where people were trying to hold TDN, LS, Legend to high standards as the posters feel they hold other people.

Drop kayak at boat ramp, load with 5 baited hoop nets,

Paddle out for 5 minutes and drop the nets.

    Paddle back in (5 minutes).

Sit by a fire, Drink Beer, listen to music, do your text messaging .....

Go back 20 minutes later and have fun playing with lobsters (measuring for size), stingrays, eels, fish and whatever ever else gets in your nets.

Redrop your nets and repeat the whole process backing off of the beer as you will have to drive home at some point.

    My post count is unimpressive.
But kudos to the big count people. Amazing that some push past 30,000.
It took me 3 years to push past 1,500. At that rate, I might hit 30,000 in 60 years or the year 2074

If I ever make it up to Maine, as it is definitely in the realm of possibility, I might need to find a way to catch me some of them. Although prices were such a couple of years ago that it probably would have been cheaper to buy them from the pro lobstermen. I haven't checked prices lately, though. It might be something fun to do if the state allows it.

Have to say, those are some mean looking cockroaches you got on the west coast. I'm going to have to find out why they are clawless.

It is even easier to kayak lobster in Maine. I saw a video from Maine and the guy went out during the DAY and pulled up a metal trap with lobsters inside. We have to go during night as we only get to use mesh hoop nets in which the lobsters can easily climb out of.

These clawless lobsters have huge tails which IMO, taste better

<< <i>Wasn't the "test forum" responsible for some of these crazy numbers?

I think a give-away contest guessing the date MGLICKER hits 10k would be huge. What's a good prize?
    Lance. >>

There were a couple folks who were lame enough and apparently bored enough to try some post count inflation on the Testing Forum. I think one or two got bammed. But that's not so much the case with the Top 10 list people. Maybe Xpipe did a little of that. I don't remember, but I do recall him coming up pretty fast.

No, it was mostly the old Open Forum. I posted there sometimes, but my high count is mostly due to my posting style. When I am in my manic cycle, I post a lot. But when I am in a depressive cycle, I disappear, sometimes for weeks. Once for five months.

Spread it all out over 13+ years, and it adds up.

I have more PMs than posts. There are 55,391 of those with 500 members. And that's after I cleaned out my PMs once, back around '02 or '03, before I realized what a handy archive they can be.
