    You guys have inspired me to dip my toe in non-Barber waters for the first time in quite a while image I visited a coin shop Id never been to for the first time over the weekend, and while there were no Barbers there for me, I found these two beauties buried on the "second layer" tray and will be happy to get an album collection going of coins that look just like these two. 1874-S and 1878-CC. I grade both F-12ish…..and any education is always appreciated!!

    JT - It doesn't matter if they're 12, 15 or 20's, when that have that perfect look. Good luck with the collection, and I'd suggest another trip to that coin shop.

    Love the 71-cc JDimmick...that's like the value of half of my collection. TOUGH coin!

    So I humbly offer my 69-p in a 63 holder, but it's in a new holder so I was able to get better images of it. Luster just oozes off the coin, in hand it is incredibly eye appealing.

    I remember it well. Its the only coin I ever owned prior that I would love to have back, (that I haven't had the opp to get nicer)

    If you remember I sold my personal collection years back to open the B & M, I know who bought it and he is a customer of Dealer Member here and he knows if it comes available I'm interested. But it has been a long while.

    I had to go head to head with Duncan Lee on this coin when it came up for auction.

    PCGS OGH 25 that is easily a 30-35 today.

    I cant afford the Battle Born 55, I would have to sell too much to cover the cost, not too mention battle stiff competition from several others that would push the price back to stratospheric levels like when it sold then in Philly.

    I actually have a good color photo of the 70-cc on my office wall.
