As an S it would have to come from a Proof set.

That's a good one. I'll be all over the 1999-S singles and proof sets at the show this weekend for sure.
You Suck! Awarded 6/2008- 1901-O Micro O Morgan, 8/2008- 1878 VAM-123 Morgan, 9/2022 1888-O VAM-1B3 H8 Morgan | Senior Regional Representative- ANACS Coin Grading. Posted opinions on coins are my own, and are not an official ANACS opinion.
I actually like the coin and would like to either see one in-hand or a more life-size photo to see if I like it more. Not so warm and fuzzy with the title edit to poke at things ("DARE IT BE CALLED MAJOR?" part...I know that wasn't there initially).
All in all, title excluded, if it shows well real size, then I do think it could be a major DDO. Can definitely see the doubling without 10000000x zoom.

That is a very worthwhile doubled die in my opinion, especially since it's one from the "single squeeze" era of die production. A question-are all doubled dies created with the single squeeze process Class IV or Class IV+VIII doubled dies?
