I picked this 3 coin set off of Teletrade or a $12 bid and ended up selling all three separately for close to $600.

I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.
With out ebay, things would be very boring. So do not ever suggest that as it may open a temporal rift that will suck us all into another dimension where no one pays fees and everything is sold and purchased at actual cost.
Cheapest way to buy bullion coins on eBay is to wait for quad eBay bucks, then hunt for coins that sell close to bullion prices but are not listed in the bullion category (such as common modern commemorative gold).
Then again, maybe his COPY is just nicer than all the other copies, and therefore its actual worth his $1500 BUY it now price.
Damn you can buy the REAL coin from APMEX cheaper than the COPY on EBAY.

I've always wondered about the bullion platinum Coins. The 2006 1 oz platinum coin has a mintage of just over 6,000. I know the burnished ones have mintages half that but those all went to collectors ordering from the mint. Where did most of the 1 oz bullion coins end up at? India? Melted down for jewelry or scientific instruments?
Of course, if there's only 900 of the things left in the world now it won't matter if only 200 people are seriously trying to assemble a 1 oz bullion platinum collection.

I reported it via ebay.com/ccw then I went to ebay.com.au were the listings originated and reported them separately for: 1. replicas not allowed 2. wrong category
anyone of the 3 could have been the ones to remove them.
all 3 of the sellers items were nuked.
The 3 "things" you have listed have "copy" on them because they are replicas and do not contain 1 troy ounce of 9999 fine gold.
All 3 of those "things" are against eBay policy, and worse they are improperly described as 1 troy ounce of 9999 fine gold.
I suggest taking them off eBay and getting your money back for them.

Hello, I was in contact yesterday with EBAY who have verified that my coins where they are placed is correct and are not replica's..Now before I tell you why and I will not presume you don't know about coins I will let you tell me the facts as to how you came to your conclusion and then I will tell you what you didn't see or know about these coins..Look forward to your answers..Oh it's only been a select few who try to say oh you can't put these coins up as they are replica's but why is it you few overlook the simple things a true coin collector would notice that a replica does not have that my limited coins do.. Oh and they were minted out at West Point which I had verified also..

It has "copy" on them for a reason. It is because they are knockoffs, dupes, and opposite of the original genuine article.
Note how the braid extends to the area behind the shoulder and the date on both the gold issue and the over 100 year old coin is raised and not indented into the metal as in the knockoff, or dupe.
I am sure you will have reasons as to why your knockoffs are still not replicas. So, feel free to send them. I just remind you that counterfeit items have the same pictures, numbers, etc. on them yet they are still counterfeit.

Well now that I know you are Knowledgeable about coins , I do agree with some of what you say and yes I know it is a copy and have not tried to hide that fact either right from the start.. 1 fact of this coin which you won't see on almost every other is that right next to In God We Trust instead of it being bare ground which all the fakes show my coins have that tuft of grass exactly the same as an original..
(note- the tuft of grass sticks straight up instead of angling towards IGWT)
As for your other points you started with the nickle ( Buffalo ) and that coin differs to the $50. Buffalo and the raised content of the coin on the nickle is a different variation but we can write here all day everyday about coins and what 1 presumes is their version and who thinks they are right and the other is wrong.. I have not portrayed any false statements about either 3 of the coins and my Ebay contact who was helpful in doing the background research also confirmed I had the coins in the correct area to sell and that nothing in the description is deceptive or misrepresented.
(note- at this time I went back and checked all 3 listings and each were list described as "not a replica confirmed by eBay and West Point Mint")
Basically other just presume and it's them who jump up and down yelling fake or whatever but fail to read the description correctly which states in Inverted Comma's COPY.. So when I get contacted and told I am wrong as people say they are replica's or copies of the real coin have I said it is the real deal NO!! Well, these exuberant prices wouldn't have anything to do with gold dropping, what now, $750? And that a lot of folks got stuck buying silver at $45/oz? Wait a second...........naw, it couldn't be for any of those reasons. Perhaps since the drop in gold, coin prices might look a bit high to people as well. haven't seen too many people at the big coin shows and the dealers were only selling at net with no room for negotiating prices? hmmm There's likely nothing to that either.
The more qualities observed in a coin, the more desirable that coin becomes!
