    I have a 12-year-old 51" Sony widescreen in my den- the kind that takes two guys to move, and a total dinosaur by today's standards but it still looks and sounds great, particularly with the surround sound system attached to it. Thus, I refuse to part with it and have resolved to run it until it drops.
    The thing is, for what I originally paid for the $%!^#@ thing I could probably buy a 90" LED flat screen today.... image

    Keep your eye out for a nice 58", they tend to have nicer pictures and cost less than the 60" models.

    LOL on the 55 TV! While I don't have a 55 coin to post I will taunt with what I think was onna the best deals I have purchased! I am watching a 55 inch Hitachi Plasma TV I bought 5 or 6 years ago on a Sams Club Auction. At the time they were going for 3K and I won it for a bit over $800! I still don't think I can replace the quality for the price today!
