NGC wrongly designated/attributed it as it's a HT-34 / Low-20 not a HT-33 / Low-19.
The HT-33 is supposed to say "EXPERIMENT" on the lower obverse whereas a HT-34 states "FINANCING".
I saw this example in hand a few years ago and it's as RD a many seen in RB holders.
Did you sell any of the non-numismatic items?

We did! Nothing to compare to the coins, but yes! The handbags got a LOT of looks but no bites ... we ended up selling several pieces of jewelry (a lot of Tiffany pieces) and diamond stud earrings and the like.

Hah, I didn't even notice that! If I had, I might've photoshopped it out!

Enjoyed reading all of it.
Thanks.

Thank you for that insight -- I'll have to check into it tomorrow! As for the color, of course those pics are ALL just off of my iphone's camera, so they're hardly stellar but it's pretty darn red!

Seems you liked Absinthe. It's one of the few shows I haven't seen yet but it sounds like it should be near the top of the list.

Here's pics of a true HT-33 with the word "Experiment" on the lower obverse...

Amazing that both are quite relevant today.

Absinthe is amazing -- depending on your tastes. I know several people that saw it and disliked it for being "crude".
This was my second time seeing it -- I'm a huge fan!

<< <i>thanks for the many photos.....please help me to understand this one:
I can help you understand this one pretty easily ... it actually takes FOREVER to get all the obv/rev pics together into one group set (I started with like 164 separate photos), and one of the girls in the office was having a slow day. So I asked her to do help me with it. She's not a coin person, and the order must have gotten out of sync, and she didn't know any better than to just smush them together in order! Oopsies! Believe it or not I looked over everything before posting, but I (obviously) missed this.
Thank you for pointing it out, I'll set it right tomorrow!

<< <i>Looks like we're going to see a 'cat fight' with show reports in the not too distant future! Charmy's are ALWAYS exceptionally well done. Amanda, this one is great, as well. All that separates the two are bottles of wine...
Thank you! But, I don't know about that cat fight ... ! Our styles are very different, and I feel there's more than enough room in Internet-land for the two of us!

I love Amanda and very much enjoy her reports and look forward to reading them like everyone else! As she said, there's plenty of room for more than one show report, especially from our different perspectives.

? Isn't that just the old NGC label stuck to the reverse of the new PCGS slab? Or am I missing something else here?
Great report and pics! Love the '59 MS and PF Indian cents.

All due respect to both of you....but there's still the matter of a lack of bottles of wine, Amanda!!
edited to add 'I should, perhaps, clarify....'
<< <i>I should, perhaps, clarify my intent of my comment. I meant it as nothing more than good natured humor...more like 'battling show reports', but between two women (which we haven't seen here since, well, never, in my time here. It's VERY refreshing to see this happen to the hobby. I hope neither of you, Charmy nor Amanda, took ANY offense, as absolutely none was intended. Actually, it's quite the opposite. To see two show reports from women here, I love it, and as you can see by the responses, everyone else seems to, also. I just used the term 'cat fight', because, well, when it's woman vs. woman.......though I know you ladies aren't 'against' each other, but, obviously, very supportive of each other (and neither of you ever have mustard stains on your shirts, er, blouses!...lol).

Oh, I'm sure we both knew! Charmy's a friend of mine, and she is absolutely the Queen of the Wine! I enjoy it well enough, but prefer c'ocktails myself!
And yeah, it sounds like Absinthe -- the show, that is! -- would be right up your alley! The stage is about 12" away from the first row, and the audience is seated 360-degrees around a small circular stage. Half the time you're staring straight up at the performers, wondering what the liability insurance must be like!
Next time you're in Vegas, be sure to see it!

<< <i>When you were at Absinthe was Angel Porrino still in the show? Her alone is one good reason for guys to want to see the show. There's chatter in the LV media that she's out of the show on her way out. >>
I had to look up who that was, but I recognized her immediately with that big bubble of hers (not a euphemism!). No, she wasn't in the show this time ... but she was when I saw it for the first time last fall. One of the things I found most interesting about the show is some 85% of it is different than when I first saw it.

Thanks for sharing your interesting reports.
I noticed that in your Long Beach report, the Coin "Images" (no, I'm not using that 'other' word...)
had the prices and cost codes in them.
But the later reports had these items fuzzed out.
I can understand fuzzing out the cost codes,
but I'm curious as to why the prices were also obscured.
I thought they made it more interesting.
Care to discuss?

We ran into a little bit of a problem where we sold a big coin to a big dealer, and I happily went onto Facebook and said something to the effect of "First sale of the show -- over $100,000!" with a pic of the coin. He also went to Facebook saying "Look at what I just bought!" and they ended up nearly side by side in a lot of people's feeds. While he didn't say anything, it made me uncomfortable on his behalf, as I wouldn't like the entire world knowing what I paid for each and every coin.
Maybe I went a little overboard blurring out the retail prices; I just started blurring the whole tag to be safe. I suppose that showing the retail prices again in the future would ok. I'll have to mull it over a little more, but may well go back to showing the retail prices.

I see what you mean about putting a price in a facebook post.
And it could also be tricky mixing images with prices if the image is the main focus.
After reading your report, I feel as I just was at the Vegas event. But for me, Vegas is a problematic quagmire, whether to play poker or gamble on the bourse with coin purchases. Somehow numismatics and Vegas were just meant for each other.
Thanks for you great write-up.
OINK
Well done, Amanda!

Darn faked me out. I though AV had arisen like a Phoenix. But she has moved on from the Doomland of Numisknutz to the Land of Living things...... where ever that is.
I'm sure she is living a great life where ever she went.
...yeah she was hot...confirmed real also
Good to see your reports here again, Amanda! Thanks.
Amanda was really cool. I got to hang out with her a tiny bit at one of the Fun shows. She is pretty and smart. A lot of folks were sad when she left the hobby. I'm sure she is doing well.
Oh, that's the first I heard she's no longer in the hobby. She did have some good reports and photos.
