A beautiful day at the old ball yard...
Sitting in the Red Sox dugout...

From the mound...

In front of the Green Monstah...

What a great day.
And to keep it on topic, My HOF coin order is now updated as "In Process."
Cheers,
Bob

Thanks, Erik. I grew it when I retired from the USAF and never shaved it off.
I was just about to make the same comment. Either his head is too big or his left arm is way too small.
<< <i>Man, that picture of you at the mound, sure makes you look like you have short arms!!! >>
I saw that , too
Still…. Jealous !

Looks like it's 'Outhaul bobble-head doll Day' at Fenway, today!
What were the odds someone would be directly behind you, and have it so your head looks like it's on his body?????

You know, I never even noticed that. And I'm a lefty to boot!
By the way, Monday is Big Papi bobble-head day. I'll be there handing them out.

They are also having a Pedro Martinez bobblehead day in Sept, I believe.
Not really looking for much these days but if I were, it might be a toner.

Haven't made it to Fenway yet, but always enjoy going to Wrigley.

Beg to differ but that's SIR Paul. Respect where it is due Sir.

I think growing up a Braves fan in a Yankees house and now converting to a mets fan slowly I kinda find the yankee stuff offensive

How about this for self abuse....
Growing up/being a Yanks fan (the #1 most valuable team of all 4 major sports, as of today, valued at $250,000,000,000, and 'Uncle George' paid $8,700,000 in '73!!), and living in a household with parents and a bro that are DIEHARD Sox fans (once the Wash Senators went kaput, mom became an ardent Sox fan), as well as ALL my friends...PLUS...
Living in Sox Nation (laughing, telling EVERYONE that they'd NEVER see a WS in our lifetimes...boy, that proved to be a pretty stupid statement beginning in '04 [damn that Curt Schilling, remember the Ford truck commercials, him thumbing a ride to Boston 'Going there to win a WS', and dammit if he didn't do just that.....j/k, but w/out him....who knows], now 3 times in 10 years...lol.... though the Yanks DO have 2 this century to the Sox 3...LOL)....PLUS...
Living not more than 10 miles (as the crow flies) from the very seats 'we' sit in (mom/pops have season tix to the Sox, Loge Box sec 111..yes, I go to more Sox games than I care to think about, but go to ALL the Yanks games, and ALWAYS wear my 'colors'...boy have the insults, instigators, and the 'Yankees s**k' chants disappeared in 10 years!).
All that aside, I must admit, even though it IS a rundown toilet, they really have done all they can do to improve it (with as much success as could be expected)....but, putting seats over the Green Monstah...puhleeze, that was sacrilege even to me...not to mention the prices of those seats...twice what our $100 box seats cost....and they're 3 1/2 stories above the field! They DO need a new stadium, though it will never happen in MY lifetime (but I've eaten THOSE words before!). BUT, the mystique/aura is UNDENIABLE, and I really DO enjoy going there to watch BASEBALL, not the Sox, necessarily (groundskeepers do the BEST job in MLB, IMO). My life, as a Yanks fan, has been pretty miserable here since '04, I'll tell ya that!!! The only highlight I see for THIS year will be going to see Derek Jeter's last game as a pro...a class act that both team's fans can agree on. Of that, I AM certain.
