Great coin. Like an American icon, numismatically. A slightly worn key, probably plucked from circulation within a decade or two of issue.
I'd like my copper well done please!

I just love the mintmark position on the subject coin.image

Nice AU58... Heck I bet if you soaked it in mineral oil to lift all the surface dirt it could re-grade as UNC.

I love lincolns and they are by far my favorite series. What concerns me about the coin is that it appears to have some green gunk on it? Obviously its pcgs graded and cac'd and thats fantastic but things can be missed and from what I am seeing I would have to take a 15x loupe and be sure. Love the grade and the look besides the greenish junk but that might also just be lighting or something. I had a stunning toned indian cent that clearly had pvc issues, I sent it to pcgs for another look and got back a note from david hall that said nice coin lol, so things can be missed image

I dont know what you are seeing, but coin has only honest to goodess crust. No PVC at all. I wish I could find all the pre 34 set this nice.
In fact, the coin is nicer in hand. The milky spot on the obverse is in the plastic, not on coin at all.

My, oh my, oh my. Great coin.

No green on my screen, either. Just some nice wood grain, and some great dirt.
Let's try not to get upset.

I am not trying to pick on you or your coinimage From what I am seeing it appears to have a few questionable spots of what look like green gunk. Like I was saying it could be lighting, my computer monitor, a number of things. Who ever imaged that coin should have cleaned the slab first as the spot on the obverse is clearly the slab, just one of my pet peeves about coin images. You have the coin in hand and say it has no gunk and thats amazing, I love the grade and over all look of the coin. Do you happen to have a non compressed imaged of the coin?

Jack, it was my great pleasure to help you with those two great Lincoln cents for your son.

And Keylargo, I'm not sure what you're seeing, but Justlooking is right - there is absolutely NO green on this coin, just plain ol' natural handling dirt.

No worries, probably my monitor image I love the crust, just on the reverse right wheat stalk just to the right of the S looked like a spot of green, must be my desktop monitor as I'm on my laptop and don't really see it unless I look really hard.

Not at all to be a jerk, but I looked at you ebay link. Your questioning the color of MY coin when I see an obviously gassed AT Peace dollar your selling. Cmon, PCGS or not, that is so obviously AT it reaks.
