Looks like Anthony Bosch will be on 60 min tomorrow. Says he personally delivered banned substances, including testosterone, insulin-like growth factor 1 and human growth hormone to A-Rod. Text messages between him and Rodriguez indicate they communicated about the substances the slugger took.
<< <i> Teams are packaging tens of millions to get rid of productive players in their prime and you think that the Yankees will blink twice if that is what they decide to do. >>
So your idea is that there's a team out there that is going to help the yankees out and take on some of Arod's salary, as well as sending players back to NY? Because that's the implication with you bringing up Prince Fielder. No, the Yankees are going to pay every penny of Arod's salary, and if we're to believe them, they are going to stick hard and fast to a $190 million team payroll which is going to be tough with $30 million going to one player.
Ichiro will pick up the slack for the team, I fully expect the Yankees to be subpar (Mariner's ish) for several years while they develop their farm system and save up for Mike Trout.

With a Shawon Dunston esque OB%, I don't think Ichiro helps much.

No doubt you're right. Ichiro will be the starting RF hitting in the 3 spot and Beltran will no doubt be relegated to the occasional pinch hitter role. And of course, the Yanks will dismantle their payroll and pinch their pennies so that they can hope to put all their eggs in the Trout basket many years from now. It's like you were reading my exact thoughts. >>
I hope you are being sarcastic? lol
Some Yankee fan called the Herd today and was like why don't we just cut Arod and sign a great 3rd baseman? lol yeah there are plenty of them out there?
