I'm wondering if this is a sign of growing popularity combined with increased affordability. If this were the case next year USM will likely strike more of 2014
Well it didn't take long for Ft McHenry to go black. Hope you all time-traveled with that Oct shipping. Now there really is only ONE choice.
I ponder why the Mint decided to strike more of the Rushmore's than others? Premonition they would sell better?
Any guesses on final mintage? I'm thinkin 22k, and they will go dark at 21.5k.
I am surprised that only 1,686 sold since last week. Heck, I bought 1,000 of 'em.

I noticed that the numismatic numbers are the totals when they went off sale....not the final totals after returns and cancellations. The WP ASE set number is too high by around 50,000....
I got the Ft McHenry P with a large scratch on the obversea and a few tiny struck thrus. I believe the last of these from the mint are all rejects and returns maybe. Sent it back and decided to buy a NGC SP70 P anyway.

Interesting, a 70 graded bullion MS Fort McHenry - only 70 in the bullion series, so far.

Sold Out. 23477 was the last reported mintage early this week. Could be they struck the full 25k. We'll see next week, but final figures won't be known for a while.
Will be interesting to watch the secondary market between now and Christmas.

No one should be surprised that this coin was a sell out with such a low mintage and with such a beautiful design of a popular national monument.

Seems like the prices on the 70 P's has been coming down a bit. I snagged one for about $210 the other day and several others closed for same price the past couple days.
I hope to acquire the others before the price escalates.
