Nothing to break the bank with, but it has some decent coins in it. Today we negotiate on a price and hopefully we can both get what we are looking for.

have fun. i have enjoyed buying the collections i have because of the diversity and there were always notes and other memorabilia from the owner(s) and i found it so fascinating to see dates on things from before i was even thought of being conceived. happened again last night from a (what i consider large) stamp collection. there is an envelope post marked from 1922 and the stamp to match was just one cool find thus far. monitarily, idk, but emotionally and intellectually a 10 in my book. the ink also looks like it was written from one of those quill pens or the like. i'm no handwriting analyst but the style looks like it could easily be 1922 or 1822, so that adds a bit of spice for me. it is 1922 though.

hope you get to find some coin club meeting nickels/medals etc, awards, membership(s) info and the like. kinda get to live a bit of their numismatic life vicariously. imageimage

I'll never forget the first time I bought out a whole collection. It was a whole row box of large cents, 97 pieces total, with 70 of them dating 1814 or earlier. First three coins out of the box were a Chain cent with VG10 details, a 1793 wreath cent with G4 details, and a nice XF 1794 S-24 that later graded PCGS XF40. Not one coin in the box had been attributed, and they were put away in the 1940s. Hope your experience is as fun as mine was!
