Let's hope justice gets served to the satisfaction of the deceased family and friends. Geez, 81 years old. What a horrible evil crime.

<< <i>I hope they have the actual killer, the pressure on the police must have been unbearable to nail the criminal. Is there a non-video reference on this? When I do internet usually at a public area, sound is against the rules. >>

Kudos to the police. It's still a sickening deal. One less B&M, and if it's not bad enough, the community and state will pay lots of money to keep this man incarcerated, fed, schooled, exercised, and housed for years to come, and it's all free for the criminal. What a nice society we have here in America.

I knew of this a few days ago, but could not relay any info due to the investigation.

A local dealer here in town (not me) purchased a good portion of the items stolen from B & G coins , and the dealer was able to help the police in identification and capture of the individual responsible. Pretty confident it was him.

All I can publically say at this point. Very glad to see him in custody

Excellent news. Innocent until proven guilty. If proven guilty, and appeals are unsuccessful, let's be rid of him.

I'd say losing ones freedom is a steep price.

I've seen it time and time again. Stolen coins, especially gold and certified ones, are NOT easy to get rid of without getting a lot of attention. There was a case in Florida a few years ago where 2 20 year olds walked into a coin store with about $500,000 worth of coins and wondered what they were worth. They'd stolen them just days before from a neighbor and all of the local coin and pawn shops were notified of the theft within 4 counties.

The dealer took his sweet time looking up the values and haggling while the cops closed in.

So sorry to hear about this dealer losing his life like he did.

Bob, the accused is apparently heading back to the home he was just let out of, IF… in fact, he is the perpetrator of the crime. How can we reform the criminal mind, when we let the criminally insane out to play , since death is inevitable when they're free ? Not that I am the judge, jury or executioner. That, I am not. Thank the good Lord.
I would say losing one's life is a steeper price. Sad as that is to face, it's cradle to grave.

Good work by the dealer. Solid evidence to identify the perp.

    Scum of the earth.

Sorry, but I zero compassion for these criminals and I'd have no problem flipping the switch.
