..........come with me now to Widget Walker Heaven! :P

These Walkers IMO are extremely eye appealing....and as such they are truly "special" examples of coins that otherwise may be considered "widgets."
I personally think that CAC was brutal on both by only awarding the green bean. Both of these pieces have a distraction-free, smooth and creamy look and they just glow.
I've had the OGH for awhile...but big thanks go out to forumite Meltdown for selling me the Fatty (I've been 'politely' harassing him for it ever since he shared it with me at a NW coin show awhile back). My pics of the Fatty don't quite capture its character (looking a tad dark and overly orange in tone) so I also added Meltdown's pics at the bottom of the page to give you the best idea of its look in-hand.
Thanks for looking fellow Walker lovers! In my collecting heart, I still most enjoy finding uncommonly beautiful examples of "common" coins.

I too collect above average widgets! Those two look great together.
With some patience, I bet you could put a pretty sweet, matching golden short set together.
I would never have considered selling that one to anyone else, I knew it was going to a good home.

<< <i>I would never call Walkers a 'widget'... one of my favorite coins.....Cheers, RickO >>
I think of Widgets as any commonly encountered coins....like common date Walkers, Morgans, Mercs, etc. in readily available grades.
