...I don't even know what brought on this certain love for the old NGC soapbox fatties...but I can't stop myself when I come across them

I probably overpaid a bit for this one ($225 shipped), but that has never stopped me before and besides... You only find out you overpaid when you sell and that ain't gonna happen anytime soon

The holder alone is worth a substantial premium. Obviously far more rare than the Doilies. The coin is great. The cheek appears pristeen.

I'm jealous, my favorite holder, I too seek out Ol' Fatty's, especially the plain Jane gold embossed ones. The Morgan looks like an easy 5 IMO.

Very nice and worth the price. I have a 2.0, but bave yet to add a 2.1 to the collection. I would have bought it!!!
