Ok, here's yet ANOTHER BST story.....

......yet this one eneds up with a more than happy ending. I was semi-actively seeking a few of those 1981 Assay roundsm from silver stored at the San Fran office. Well, Type2 digs it out of about 6 pages (as I said, wasn't actively seeking them, but did want a few). Type2 responds, says he's got 2...one is obviously an off centered strike, so, I think 'pretty cool' to have an error. The 'coins' show up while I'm up NH. I get home today, already missing the first quarter and a half of the 1pm games. Then I spy T2's package on the table. I open the package up, and turns out BOTH coins are error rounds. On top of that, he sends me two 'freebies', coins he just felt like throwing in. One is a G 1891 Seated Lib quarter, the second, an 1876-CC Seated Lib quarter. Given I'm no millionaire, these are now going to be the base of the new Dansco Seated Lib quarter book I'm going to put together.
We hear all the time about when things go bad on BST deals, do, on occasion, hear when things go right, but Type2 really went out of his way, IMO. Just a great guy to deal with, and through my personal experience with him, a not just a great guy to deal with, but a great guy, in general, and I thought his exceptional generosity should be noted.
Thanks, T2!!!!!!

Have done lots of business on the BST (both buying and selling - both on the coin and currency boards), and never once had a deal go bad.
<< <i>I've made many BST transactions and they've all been great. >>
<< <i>Very cool!

Fortunately, I've never had a bad BST deal, all gone well. Always been treated as I'd hoped to be treated, as that's how I treat (try like hell) when selling. Not that ANY of my transactions have been bad, but T2 just went way above the call. Matter of fact, I've missed the rest of the 1pm games, looking at my raw coins, and I have to be honest, the 1876-CC Seated Lib quarter T2 sent me, it's now my favorite raw coin. 1876, carson City, floated out west, it's a coin I REALLY wish could speak.
Hoard the keys.
