good deal?1873 OPEN 3 $2 1/2 GOLD QUARTER EAGLE PCGS GRADED MS 62

some of these have sold for over 700 on heritage so would this be considered a good deal?

1. It's being sold by a guy named "estate lawyer"
2. 8 offers to buy it have been rejected already
3. Seller says it has to go and it's unreserved.......yet it's not an auction and has a Buy It Now price. ????????????
4. $595 sounds like plenty of me for an MS62 $2-1/2 even if a slightly better date. You can buy Philly type coins (1899-1908) of this denomination in MS64 for $630-$660.
The price is in line with other MS62ish type coins. These aren't anything special that I can see. NGC 62's sell for $450-$550. And in generic gold, I can't see paying a
premium for a holder.
Definitely a fair deal @595 for that slightly better date
If cac would put a sticker on it... I'm sure it we would be a great deal.

Agreed, coin does not look right. If CAC approved the $595 price is reasonable.
