thats why I posted it I don't want that right now I am tied up in some of my vintage horns right now and untill they sell i am a bit cash poor but if some one on the board wants it it is all good.
1. It's being sold by a guy named "estate lawyer" 2. 8 offers to buy it have been rejected already 3. Seller says it has to go and it's unreserved.......yet it's not an auction and has a Buy It Now price. ???????????? 4. $595 sounds like plenty of me for an MS62 $2-1/2 even if a slightly better date. You can buy Philly type coins (1899-1908) of this denomination in MS64 for $630-$660. The price is in line with other MS62ish type coins. These aren't anything special that I can see. NGC 62's sell for $450-$550. And in generic gold, I can't see paying a premium for a holder.
just thought some here might like it with all the millionaires floating about. I looked at heritage an they were selling for as much as 700.00. Thats all, nice coin but not for me at this time. I just sold my 1911 2.50 Indian.

Definitely a fair deal @595 for that slightly better date
If cac would put a sticker on it... I'm sure it we would be a great deal.

Agreed, coin does not look right. If CAC approved the $595 price is reasonable.
