  All are nice coins for the grade that most on these boards would be happy to acquire. I find it is hard to make sense of the AU grades from pictures, as I have several PCGS coins that look AU58, yet graded 53 or 55 due to some minor imperfection like a tiny rim nick. I also have a couple of coins that look AU50, but got graded AU55 or AU58 due to a lack of imperfections.

  And here I thought I was goofy doing a circ. grading set from 01 to 58 with 1895-S Morgan dollars.

  Let me clarify. I do not own the AU53, which is undergraded IMO. It belongs to a friend in Iowa.
  
  However, my quest continues for a truly nice, original 96-S in 55.
