BOUGHT A COIN...HAD CHEST PAINS...{{{{{GRADE REVEALED...}}}}}

Ever since i was a young kid at around the age of 10 when i first was given a bunch of foreign coins by a family friend who was a merchant marine capt. i got hooked on coins. Went to the library and got one of those Encyclopedia Brittanica and saw coins from different parts of the world and US coinage ofcourse. I was fascinated by one in particular and i said to myself someday i will buy and own at least one example of the one i was after. Years passed and financially it was not possible to reach one of my dream coins so i had to leave that alone for decades.... To make the long story short a fellow forum member was flying into the city and found a way from his busy schedule of business meetings lined up for the day to meet up with me and bring the coin for approval. We met up and i saw the coin as described and shown via email pics and we closed the deal. Unbeknownst to Brian ( Fusion) this coin was something i only dreamed about since i was a kid. So back to work i went and from time to time i would take a break to look at the coin. Finally hitting me what just happened today i got so excited of finally realizing one of my dreams and i experienced Chest pains right there in my desk. It was a good while too feeling that way and was afraid i was going to have a cardiac event...so i tried my best to calm myself down . Here is the coin ...Yes its not a big deal for most But it is to me.
Oh by the way please excuse my pics and Pls. Guess the Grade and TPG ...which i will reveal tomorrow
Before i forget...Thank you Brian! THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION>

I really like the Luster that some of those early St. Gaudens Double Eagles have.
I remember my first double eagle well. I was just as excited and couldn't stop splashing the light across its lusterous surfaces.
By the way, I choose the 1908 NM as well
PCGS MS-63
Cheers!

Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
Nice coin! Looks like stronger than average luster for an 08 NM.
I very much enjoyed the story behind the coin.

<< <i>I'll go with a more conservative 63
I was going to say 2 or 3.

left foot. Usually you can clearly see the toes.
For some reason, the reverse strike is much better.
congrats on getting one. i am very happy for you! now, you need to get a 20 lib...but no more chest pains.
<< <i>MS62. Just like meeting women at a bar, check the hands and feet. Poor strike on

You can't go by toes on a N/M 08 Philly as most all are weakly struck...
It's tough to find a example in which Ms. Liberty has fully pronounced facial features.
I like it.
...i'll say 63 but not sure which TPG.

I wish! I don't think they made any 1908 proofs without the motto.
