Interesting....all the Federal Credit Unions in my area are closed. They usually abide by the Federal Holidays.

Columbus brought to light the existence of the new world to Europe. So to say Columbus discovered america in his search is a correct use of the word.
We say an astronomer discovered a new planet and yes the planet already existed. It might already contain life too.

there was no home/business delivery of first class-priority, the USPS did
stop into our B&M to pick up about 8 of those white tubs of outgoing
EBAY stuff . I believe (but not sure) that Express mail is also delivered .
Also , if you drive Interstates frequently , you may have noticed trailer
trucks with a US-MAIL placard hauling to a hub or airport on sundays .
