Fresh from PCGS: These are now properly ATTRIBUTED. :)

I am always looking for nicer examples. For the 1936 DDO I also have the former Top Pop MS65FB. I Cherrypicked this 1936 in PCGS MS67FB at the Summer FUN HA Auction. I do not exactly agree with the grade unfortunately but I understand why it has this grade. In hand, with the toning, you really have to tilt the coin at just the right angle to see the hit on the cheek. I think this was missed when it went through grading. It is still fun to own the top two finest examples. Hopefully I can find another 67FB to replace this example one day.
I have my Top Pop 1929-S DDO in PCGS MS65FB at PCGS right now for restoration. I look forward to posting the before/after of that within the next couple of weeks.
I also have four other raw varieties at PCGS, they should be done within a couple of weeks as well.

<< <i>Congrats on your newest pickups and your Newest Top Pop, This has been a Great past week for the Quarters Varieties too. Just being in the right place at the right time and having the Knowledge for a Series sure makes the Search a Blast. I may see you at Fun this Year as I hope to make that show and get out of the Cold.........Enjoy
Thanks everyone.
Tommy, I have not entirely decided about my spare 36 DDO in 65FB. For the right money I would let it go for sure but there is not a lot of demand right now so I can just wait until the demand shows up. I will certainly be at Winter FUN so we can say hi.

That Cherrypick was from the Heritage auction. Based on the online images I thought it might be the variety but I was fortunate enough to attend lot viewing at Summer FUN to confirm my suspicion. In regards to Cherrypicking in general, I am close to having 100 coin varieties memorized...so if I approach a dealer's case at a show I look for the coins that I know have varieties and then I ask to view those coins that I recognize. That's all, pretty simple.

Love those Merc's but I couldn't deal with the varieties.
I can barely see the coin - and if I wear my readers, I can
make out most of the lettering - and with my pocket magnifying
5X I can see all I need to see on the coin.
What you collect, you need something short of the Hubble Telescope.
Nice stuff though.
