Keeper (got for just over melt). I think she's easily a 63:

And to sell (and I am SO tempted to keep it):

Nice new gold purchases - especially the $20 now in a 61 holder.

Below is a new item for the Engelhard type set that arrived yesterday via ebay.

I got 3 ounces of silver. A 2014 Kook, a 2006-s San Fran old mint, and a 2006-p Franklin scientist.

Nice Luster on that 22 Double Eagle!

I really like it in that old undergraded holded to boot...

    OGIM,

That is a bar that I have never seen before Sir, and something tells me it's an early Australian Engehard variety, IE before the 1Kg and 0.5Kg chunky bars...

    Nice one!

It's all about what the people want...

Now that's some cool toning CCC2010.

Nice stuff this week boys. I tried to win a few auctions but came up short...and sold some Dollars & Art bars to add to the "cash pile" a little bit hoping for $18/oz silver again. I think that's definitely a support level that may be tested soon, so I'm trying to add cash at this point. My disclaimer is I change my point of view as the market swings...I go with the flow (trend). I do look long term too for the items I intend to keep too. AM i the only one like this or do you all have similar feelings? Not trying to derail the thread...just a ? guys so please dont get bent out of shape. image

I too am always on the lookout for "keepers". Sometimes I bury myself in a piece, but bail myself out with profits on flipping maples and generic silver. For instance, a number of FPMP threads ago I posted a couple sweet JM bars. A 50 oz poured JM and a 100oz poured JM&M. The 100 oz was especially nicely toned. The price of silver has dropped a few dollars since then, so I am just hanging onto these.

My logic is that there are plenty of newly minted bars and rounds to flip, but not many older pieces floating around. Gresham's law all the way.. Unless I can find a buyer at a sick premium over spot of course!

    Great metal this week folks.

I'm with you Rich. My Silver Eagle set is my "keeper" silver. All of my bars, rounds, and 90% is just a parking spot for cash.
