New lens, test shots.

Just received the lens from a forum member today. Couldn't wait to get home and shoot something, so I went with my cleanest Morgan.
I didn't resize, as I wanted to see if it retained sharpness and clarity. I wish I could fool around with it but after a 12 hour day, I'm whipped.
Your thoughts.................

Looks great to me(but I am not a camera buff).
size and clarity are spot-on.
looks heavily diffused.
but you just got the lens so tinkering comes later
what is the resolution of the original unedited images?

I don't think that lens will work on diameters smaller then a half dollar, but just to prove me wrong I wanna see some dimes on Monday
As far as your Morgan dollar shot... Well it looks good enough to quit your day job!
Challenge is the short focal length doesn't give you much working distances when shooting small subjects.
Great lens though! And super shot!!

I use compact fluorescent bulbs, two at 10 n 2 and one at 12 o'clock. The ones at 10 and 2 are close to the lens. This is by far the best image of a Morgan I have ever taken. Thanks for all the compliments, off to work
