  Whitman Publishing will release A Guide Book of Civil War Tokens
  this year (2013). Q. David Bowers is the author. Fred Reed wrote the

  I proofread a copy of the book. It is a great book and a must-own even if you don't intend to own a Civil War Token.

  Don't forget auction archives. Still the best way to go if the items in question has some kind of auction history.

  There is a revised and updated book at the printers as we speak. For further information contact John Ostenoff @ CWTS or Steve Hayden. The release is expected sometime in 2014, possibly March. There probably won't be another major update as this for these issues in our lifetimes.
