Coin Theft in Woodland, WA

I learned of a coin theft that happened Sunday afternoon while two dealers had stopped for a meal while returning home from the WCC-PNNA coin show in Portland.

The theft occured in Woodland, WA (about 21 miles North of Portland.) I don't know the exact details but I can forward their email with photographs of the slabbed coins.

If interested email me: Robanglemier@comcast.net

Let's help these dealers in need.

Thank You

I'm very sorry to hear of this. I hope that they get their coins back and that the scum bags get caught.

That said, how many times have we heard this same story on this forum? Dealer(s) stop for food on the way home from show, car broken into, coins stolen. We hear this time and time again. It's as if the lessons are never learned.

Shouldn't be too long before we hear the same story again....

Over and over again..the same story..... What will it take for people to learn this lesson???? Very frustrating. Yes, I feel bad for them.... but this is just ridiculous. Cheers, RickO

I feel bad about this situation, but it looks like very poor judgment by the dealer. Kinda like leaving your child unattended in a locked car while running some errands in 90 degree heat. Just doesn't make sense.

And if you can't do that for some reason, go through a drive thru with your doors locked... at no time should you leave more than you can afford to lose in your car unattended. I also feel bad for these guys but there is no excuse for that.
