Anyone have American Coin Treasures & Hoards by QDB?

I saw this book referenced in another numismatic volume and it piqued my interest; however, being out of print, is relatively expensive.
If anyone could comment on this book, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I would rank it in the top 10 of QDB books, but not in my personal top 5.

An excessively good response by RYK. Longacre agrees with what he wrote.
For light reading, I enjoy QDB's Numismatic Companion series. For heavier reading, you cannot get better than the History of US Coinage.
