Just the way he describes his coins would make me steer far away from anything he sells.
He uses so many weasel words.
He calls it a VG, which it isn't. A "true gem". He refers to that graffiti as a "counter stamp" which it isn't. Also I don't think a coin that has huge initials dug into it can be called an "original surface" either.
The guy's right. SF ARE Samuel Franklin's initials. Of course, they are also Stephen Foster's. Maybe he owned the coin when he dreamed of Jeanie with the light brown hair.
Just because I'm old doesn't mean I don't love to look at a pretty bust.

My message to seller: That coin is even more special than you think. According to the Franklin Institute, Samuel Franklin died in 1720! That means he gouged his initials into that coin 73 years after he died! Wow! That's historic and spooky! You may want to raise the price!
