And, AGAIN another pleasing submission!

I think I must have become grading "gun shy" because these keep coming back with either what I expected, or a little higher.image

PCGS Order Status for Invoice # 3038411

LINE # CERT # COIN DATE DENOMINATION VARIETY GRADE
1 90023457 1964 50C Accented Hair PR67
1 90023458 1964 50C Accented Hair PR67
1 90023459 1964 50C Accented Hair PR66
1 90023460 1964 50C Accented Hair PR65
1 90023461 1964 50C Accented Hair PR64

Date Received: 09/12/2002
Date Shipped: 09/24/2002

Line #1, I had PR66CAM. Funny thing about that one, is that it was cracked out of a PCGS PR65CAM holder. Wonder where the CAM went?
Line #2, I had PR66
Line #3, I had PR65
Line #4, I had PR65
Line #5, I had PR64

So, I had two bingos, and three with a higher grade than my notes indicate - although one of those should have gone CAM.

    Russ,

Great invoice. I can truly say, PCGS has me baffled by the NoCam/Cam/Dcam thing. image

Just curious, how many AH 64s do you have now? Trying to corner the market on that veriety?image

    Russ,

You are the man! I like watching your submissions grow... It's fun to see good stuff. I had a fairly good one, too recently:
LINE # CERT # COIN DATE DENOMINATION VARIETY GRADE
    1 90022346 1999-P SBA$ PR69DC
    2 90022347 2002-S SAC$1 PR68CA
    3 90022348 2002-D LA 25C Louisiana MS67
    4 90022349 2002-S 50C PR69DC
    5 90022350 2002-S LA 25C Louisiana PR69DC
    6 90022351 2002-S MS 25C Mississippi PR69DC
    7 90022352 2002-S IN 25C Indiana PR69DC
    8 90022353 2002-S TN 25C Tennessee PR69DC
    9 90022354 2002-S OH 25C Ohio PR69DC

All the state quarters were dead on my expectations (I'm getting much better at understanding PR69s from PR68s in clad and silver moderns... ) but I was floored on my 2002-s Sac. It really was DCAM. I hope it didn't haze in shipment.

The LA MS quarter was a choice find, considering it was from a mint set with all the other SQs in 63 and 64.

That's it, you've had too many good submissions in a row. You know what you must do Russ, go ahead and get the PR67 AH (the one cracked out of the CAM holder too pal) and send it on it's way to my home. Gotta pay the piper, you knew it was coming so I don't want to hear it.

    Wisconsin,

I hoard them. After I croak, you'll see auction headings that say Dead Russ's estate!image

    Lanlord,

I have 20 so far. Not all are graded yet, though. I have nine that have been graded including this submission, there is another submission in right now that arrived on the same day as this one that has four on it, and I have seven more that haven't been sent in yet.

Congratulations Russ! You definitely are corning the market on these AH's! Soon, the vast majority of the Pops will be yours! Cool.

BTW, just for grins, here are my notes on the other submission that's in right now (#3040025):

    Line #1: PR68
    Line #2: PR67
    Line #3: PR68
    Line #4: PR66

All Accented Hairs. Of course, now that I've got my butt hanging out, PCGS will go back to screwing me.image

I wish I can, I wish I can ... I know I can, I know I can ... Let's hope, amid these pleasing grading reports on halfs of the JFK persuasion, that the grading gods smile in a similar fashion on my pending submission of 10 gem Franklins from 1954-63, including -- in my wildest dreams -- five that will go CAM -- 1954, 55, 56, 61 and 63. The '62 has the deepest DCAM obverse you ever will find -- and then not a trace on the reverse. Oh well, as a friend and I say, onward and upward! image

    Russ,

Does PCGS charge you $30 each for the variety designation?

Have you come across many Cameo AH Kennedies?

    Endo,

Nope, it's $15. Cameo'd Accented Hairs are few and far between.

I'm sure you have a 69 stashed around somewhere to complete a 64-69 grader set.You might want to check this auction before Braddick sees it.
