How much of a hassle is raising your monthly selling limit on ebay?
I'm just wondering what's involved in raising your monthly selling limit, and if I did raise it - is there a big advantage in setting up a store?

I knew it would happen.

Off the top 4% less Final Value fees makes a store a freebee as the basic store gets 150 free listing per month for $16.95.
BTW most store owners also get deals not offered to all sellers. Current offer is a thirty day offer of FVF cap at $100.00 no matter what your items sells for or something like that.

Actually the basic store price has increased to $19.95 if you choose the monthly subscription fee. The yearly subscription fee is $15.95 per month. You need to do the math if the reduction in FVF of 4% offsets the store fee.
Ebay store fees & terms
Almost forgot.. top rated sellers receive 20% off their FVF.
When you list items fixed price or at higher start auction saving should be more as long as one has inventory to use all the listings that are offered for the store.
Sometimes I swear he don't listen. (my venting place)

<< <i>OK the store cost $191.40 per year but it is billed monthly. With that you get 1,800 free listings even the 99¢ start auction listing costs 10¢ each so minimum of $180.00 in free listings Making the store cost about $11.40 and it won't take long for the 4% savings to make that up.

just to add to all that greatness. the TRS discount if one can manage to get it.
be careful though as i've analyzed the breaking point on spending the 1.69 in tracking to satisfy that requirement which requires selling items with enough meat to exceed the difference in savings it takes to get the discount. if you sell items for $10 and ship with tracking 1.69 cost to get the 20% or higher discount, the shipping far exceeds the savings you get and if you sell hundreds or thousands of items in a year under say $30, spending the 1.69 per item will cost you dearly.
the benefits are there but one must spend time going over the data to find the spot for themselves within the ebay machine.

LindeDad. I'm sure you did not become a top rated seller by "shipping without tracking," since it's free when using paypal shipping.
Did you mean to say: shipping with tracking is a must?
<< <i>Is the monthly store subscription easy to get in and get out of if you just have a few things to sell but total value is decent? Can you set it up on the 1st then cancel it before the 31st and just pay the 19.95? Thanks. >>
Yup....not sure about your date range...mine is from the 15th to the 14 of every month.

16th to 15th, thanks. Found this too:
Your first eBay Stores invoice includes:
¡The prorated subscription fee for the number of days from your Subscription Start Date to the first date of your next full invoice month (the "Prorated Period") and
¡The subscription fee for the next full invoice month (the "First Full Invoice Month"). You're billed monthly thereafter.
I've never had one so I'm not familiar with it.
The only one I'm aware of was for new sellers and those limits can be raised with a phone call.

What I meant and said were slightly different. It used to cost extra for the Delivery Confirmation but has not for the last year or so. But shipping anything online without some type of tracking is just asking for a scammer to say, "Did not get it where is my refund".
