Now here's something I don't get to see every day.....my WEED Tokens on a website

Going through some websites tonight doing some research and ran across some tokens that I said.......hmmm,
how often do I find another defaced silver WEED token like mine. They are quite rare to begin with and to think I have found someone else
that has one like mine
Then the light came on and said.....oh, those are mine

Why oak leaves and not tobacco or other? They look like oak laves - are they?

<< <i>Your own tokens? Who says anything about short term memory
Short term memory? Nah....just another BS excuse for 'the man' to control it...or something like that, I think, maybe...what was I trying to get at? Ah, the hell with it. I'm hungry....lol

But the cola would be so much prettier than leaves...
Dried tobacco leaves don't look like this so I am guessing they are indeed oak? Are there any US coins with tobacco leaves on them? I imagine a good bit of odd stuff will be on the Commems.
Eric
Off hand I don't recall any tobacco leaves on US coins, but I do have a CWT that has tabacco.

Hi
That is really nice - thank you. You covered rice, cotton and sugar all on one side! Clothes, sweets, smoke and drink on one coin - awesome!

Great stuff and awesome eye for cohesion, beginning, middle and end, variety and inclusion in your sets. The mark of thoughtful collector IMHO
Eric
The exhibit above is actually still touring the country - from DC to ? to NY and now it is at the Henry Ford Museum until September. I'd recommend it, but the show, and book (despite my best efforts), were awful
I removed the items I loaned (a section of a building) and am left with bad memories and a cheap book. Oh well. Looking to new horizons.

I was trying to find a photo of an example of the silver "NO PLEASURE CAN EXCEED / THE SMOKING OF THE WEED" token shown below today. I too came across multiple photos of different websites of your example of this token in silver! I also found your 2013 PCGS Forum posting on this subject and token.
It took quite a bit of searching to find the token photo that I was looking for online, but I finally did. This token is ex. Stack's Hick & Dice Sale, July 28, 2008:3460 and was also struck in silver.
