Graded Stuff, BUT NOT ONCE did I ever really buy a coin because
of it holder, I liked what I saw and that was it! Do I wish that some
were in another holder? maybe a teeny weeny but its not important
and it won't keep me from sleeping at nightimage

Right now? None. But I have plenty of PCGS, NGC, and ANACS labels. image

If I kept my coins in the holders, I'd want them to be all the same grader for my OCD.

I used to have PCI, ANACS and once even had an NNC but now strictly PCGS & NGC only.

I only have one brand of holder right now. Since I am focused on a variety registry set...anything not in a PCGS holder gets cracked out prior to my submitting it to our host.

I have had a couple of other coins in different brand holders from time to time over the last couple of years...heck, last month I had an ANACS and NGC holder but those coins have been sold. I too buy the COIN I like, not the holder...but then I put the COIN I like into the holder I like best. image

Yea, I've got a few third world slabs as well. Some where mistakes from the late 1990's, but most simply contained coins I liked.

Five, not counting generation varietals: PCGS, NGC, ANACS, ICG and one ICCS (although the latter is a flip not a slab).

    PCGS > 2/3
    NGC ≈ 1/4
ANACS = whatever's left with the exception of a couple bullion oz in ICG's and the one ICCS (it's a Newfie)

I think part of their marketing strategy depends on the OCD nature of collectors.

I have many coins in NGC, PCGS, and quite a few small ANACS slabs which I really like. I have a few ICG slabs, a few early PCI slabs, one SEGS slab, and one large ACG photo slab.

The problem with this strategy is that the holder I like best is no longer available--the small white ANACS holder.

To answer the OP I currently have coins in old ANACS, NGC, PCGS, and 1 PCI.
Just because I'm old doesn't mean I don't love to look at a pretty bust.

Only our hosts and the mints. Any others I had have left the house.

    Mainly PCGS and NGC.

However, I have one HSGS 1878-S graded MS-66, but more than likely a MS-64. Kept it slabbed because I like the slab. Some IKES in a Capital holder and a couple Morgan CC'S in GSA holders. A couple ANACS in holder and one broken out for my 7070. A couple ICG that I broke out for my 7070. Finally, an IGA 1889 Morgan graded MS-64 obverse and MS-65 reverse. image

So do I, which often means snap-crackle-pop and into a Capital Plastics™ set holder, because slabs basically mean nothing to me, however the ability to display/study/enjoy my coins all side-by-side means a lot . . . But then again, I only collect dreck widgets.

I have only PCGS and ICG now.
I used to have ANACS (old white holder), NGC, SEGS and Steve Ivy plastic flip with insert. I love the solid feel and look of SEGS slab. I wish I had not sold my SEGS slab back in 2001.
