Started with nothing on Friday, had these in hand on Monday (for MNS show)

Record time for a medal.
Started with a rough sketch from MNS and an image of this painting (the only known portrait painted while Boone was alive):

On Friday, that is all there was.
By Monday night, 100 of these were in-hand (they can be seen at the Missouri Numismatic Society show this weekend):

    The dies were sand-blasted. The medals are as-struck (no sand-blasting after strike).
