I keep getting logged off but I believe it's microsoft doing it. It might be an incompatability
with older software or something but all of a sudden it's happening a lot. It seems most windows
updates screw something up.

I've never seen the blinking coin but I'm getting tired of the yellow files in front of every post.

a big FAT +1

i work diligently to turn off ALL updates for ALL programs. i prefer to update annually.

It was very very strange the icon on a post was a gif and my phone also placed it where the small sheet with the folded corner is on posts. Avatar size and on every post. Then I opened other threads and it was there too. Shortly later after you all felt I was nuts I looked again and it formatted right. Very strange

If you call them to complain they claim it's corrupted files in your computer and they'll fix it for a "nominal fee" ($100).

The Long Beach Expo Banner at the top of the page
is an annoyance, yes. But I have seen worse at the
top of the page. It's a revenue generating area for
our hosts, who kindly offer us these Forums, gratis.

I scroll down past the Banner so it doesn't show on my screen.
