If you got back to the pre-federal period, it would this 1787 Fugio Cent, Newman 8-X, which is a New York Bank hoard variety:
If you go be to the colonial era, it would be this 1773 Virginia half penny, which is also a hoard variety in Mint State.
MS62 but I kind of have to wonder if a few of my AU58’s from before that really circulated.

Oldest current MS coin (not proof) is the cherriest 1864 with L cent I've ever seen.
