Question about FB, FS, FH, FBL designations

I have been collecting since I was a kid. When I was younger, PCGS was in its infancy. I would look through the graded coin inventory of most of the shops I would go to and every once in a while buy a low dollar coin. I do not remember seeing any Roosies with the FB designation on them. I realize that this was not added until 2003, but it helps me ask my question. Are there other series that now have designations that did not when the grading companies were in their infancies? And also, when did these designations get added (year, or generation of holder)?

I believe a few of the designations you mentioned in the title were also added later.
<< <i>Smart dealers have been playing the crack and regrade game every since they started adding the money bonus designations.
Stupid ones too. All they have to do is be sharper (perhaps just more ferally shrewd) than those whom they pick off.
Before TPG's unc's were the ones to have
Then came high grade TPG's.
Then came high grade designation TPG's.
and now it seems to be high grade designation TPG's with a CAC bean.
<< <i>As with all things, evolution is guaranteed. So with the grading game.... started with grades, advanced to technical considerations (i.e. FB, FBL etc) and now we have + designations. More to come.. as we evolve....
Yet, the coins have never changed. Only the market gimmicks.
The more qualities observed in a coin, the more desirable that coin becomes!
