Went to the TNA show today, the only problem...

My friend called at the rude hour of 6 a.m. this morning to get me up and moving as he wanted to go to the TNA show in Fort Worth. We got there and the place was dead. Called my wife and a quick check of the net shows it is next week end. LOL Not a toal loss as there was a gun show down the road. The fever is over at gun shows around here as i did not see a lot of guns being bought or sold, Ar-15 are back to regular prices, AK 47's are still stupid money and everyone wants to retire on a box of 22 ammo. I ended with with a Colt model 70 1911 and a like new in the box Ruger mini- 14 ranch rifle with 3 mags for 1100 all in. Bought from isle walkers with no paper work. Still have funds for the coin show next week.

I always thought that TNA was a horrible acronym for a numismatic organization. I have a friend who had been using his initials "STD" to sign off in his e-mails, and I had to tell him that was probably not the best choice.

I've been getting 223 ammo for .50 a round and offing it for $1 only have 300 rounds to go. Sold all my .22 long for $90 bucks for a box of 525 ronds, That went supper fast. had a half palet of it. Looks like this bubble is going to pop as well. I dont think i'm going to reorder any more.

I will be spread out thin this next weekend, guess I need to get a few more dollars out
of the SDB. There's our coin club show and a gun show here but I think I can make it
work. Friday and Saturday shop coins and Sunday shop guns since they get like a Disney
Character around this town on Saturday mornings at a gun show, Freakin Goofy!

Whew... thought I missed it! I will be t here as well, doubt I'll pick anything up unless there's just something there I can't stand to do without, you never know.

Be sure to update us on the gun show situation.... i.e. ammo prices, AR availability and prices... anything else interesting. Sure to be at least one coin table too....good for cherrypicking... Cheers, RickO
