Silver For Sale

I am not a coin collector so like to get that out there right now. I am not a babbling idiot either. I have been trying to find legitimate and serious buyers for my large 'collection' of silver for some time. Rolls of Silver Eagles, junk silver coins, bars. I have had pretty awful success so far. Somebody suggested posting on here. Thought could not hurt. If you buy silver please message me or post on this thread.

I triple that warning---- stay away, he's been haunting the boards ATS for about a month. And as far as I can tell, not one deal has gone thru. He wants money up front. And he will bash you if he can't get the deal he wants. Be very cautious.

It IS nice to know that, no matter what board you are on, no one wants to see anyone who is truly trying to become a better, more well-informed collector, get ripped off due to the bottom feeders (like the OP) that we see on occasion. While most are on both forums (here and ATS, and other forums, also), some who are relegated to one (meaning ATS), always manage to get word from ATS to here, (and vice-versa), for situations like this. The user's info (the username, the M.O., or their 'tells'), all that info (and the seller being/seeming 'suspect', after excuse after excuse, demanding $$ up front as a newbie)...all this 'safety info' usually makes it way here, and it's nice to know that people are trying to help others stay away from 'problem members', or those peddling wares where the transaction will usually develop a 'problem', resulting in the OP's favor.

I watched the shenanigans with this guy in his 'Money Marketplace' posts ATS. At one point, he had 13 posts, 12 in the Money Marketplace, and none of the MM threads, well, it seemed like the cards were being dealt from the top of the deck, in more ways than one. I, personally, would NEVER deal with this joker, after the threads he starts, then excuses, different info...nothing is ever 'set' with this guy, always gonna be a glitch (gives a good idea he's only here to try to get people's money, no contribution to the forums....that's ok, though, that's how some work it, but their transactions always go smoothly. But this guy, nah! More trouble than it's worth, from what I've seen. I have not dealt with him, but from what I've read, he'll end up on CT, causing all kinds of trouble there...but others on CT have been known to back out of deals with no communications, and just think it's going to go away (one name, factual situation, Yakpoo on CT). But, we DON'T need these kinds of people out here.

I see these post and I can't be too upset or angry as there are truths in what mostly was said. Except the one guy-you tried to be a broker on a coin deal. You wasted my time with back and forth and then let it slip "Oh I'm not the buyer" and then said you needed to talk to him. I found that to be in bad taste.

Now if any of you want to do a deal in person-I was always for that.

To try and mend some fences here I will apologize if I gave off the wrong 'vibe' for lack of a better word.

Now I do have other coins. I'm learning this as we go.
I just spoke with somebody else and I have a 1802 Half Cent. It is and by the research I see-the rare 1800 reverse. I have not yet sent it in to PCGS. If anybody has interest in that coin-message me. I do not want money sent upfront. This coin seems to be a very expensive coin. I know there are fakes, scams, and cons out there. I am not one.
If you want you can touch and examine this coin. I am not going to put in some hard shell and say you can't weight it and look at it with a loupe or anything. This is a pretty damn valuable little coin and I feel if I can do a deal with a member on here of that magnitude I think that would be enough to put some faith back in my handle.

Why continue to feed this troll? If not one deal has gone through, and he WANTS to do it in person....$28,000 (at least you don't have to pay first).....there is something definitely not kosher here, given his short and unsuccessful attempts to sell ANYTHING, either here OR ATS. Just give it up and don't respond to him. We've all seen what can go down with sellers that have this seller's same M.O. Hopefully his threads will fall off first pages very soon.

Funny, all 5 of his posts are in this thread. He's brand new, has nothing to add, but wants to sell, and expects money up front????? This is someone to definitely stay away from. Giving a hard time to ANYONE (buyer, middleman, whatever), in messages, when you're trying to sell something???? That's like going to Sears and having the salesperson call you an ___hole. After the nonsense ATS, and now the nonsense hear, hopefully he'll just go away (hopefully). Go to a B&M and sell your stuff....and see what it's like to be treated the way you treat others.

This has 'bad news' written all over it...and I'd NEVER consider meeting THIS seller in person.....bad news all over it.

You go from selling silver on both boards. Not completing even one transaction. Now, after telling everybody you don't collect coins, you have a very rare very expensive coin for sale. And you don't see why people are a little hesitant to do business with you. Why not sell a roll or two of those ASEs. And start from there. I'm also new to this forum, and have just completed my first deal with a long time member. I bought a $500 coin. Sent him the $ upfront. Coin on the way. That's the way it works. I'm a little better known ATS. As I have completed a half dozen or so BSTs. Over there in the last couple months. Crawl before you sprint. Just saying

What is fishy about this in anyway?
Of course I'd prefer to deal in person. Maybe somebody is in or near Indianapolis and it would be easy but that is unlikely.
I gave 2 alternatives
A) If you have a lot of feedback on here I would consider shipping to you.

Since this is a high value coin I would be open to shipping to a dealer you know to have them inspect.

I mean Jesus Christ I'm going all in on here and you continue to claim I want money upfront or demand to meet in person when I clearly stated the opposite.
