Wish I had time to read that many magazines. I got tired of Coin World and for the first time in 8 years let it lapse. My favorite Magazine is Coinage as I very much enjoy Tom's articles and the history lessons from when they do an in-depth review of a certain year.

I used to get Coins and Coin World. I found that Coins was pretty much aimed at novices and got tired of it after a year or two. I subscribed to Coin World for a long time, but lapsed recently; I may get an electronic subscription.

I get the Numismatist - it has improved in the past year or so.

I find the specialist publications the most interesting now. I get the E-Sylum (Numismatic Bibliomania Society) and the E- Gobrecht - both are free. I also get The Gobrecht Journal and the Southern Gold Society's eNewsletter.

Check out the Southern Gold Society

    I only get the Numismatist.

I let my subscription to Coin World expire a few years ago.

Most of my coin reading now comes from online sources, books, and auction catalogs.

I used to get several... got tired of the repetition and voluminous advertising (I know, they need ads to stay in business).....dropped them all. Cheers, RickO

Coin World online. I read it now and then, but not every issue. Gets me a discount on supplies for my attribution service at Amos Hobby.
    Numismatist online w/ANA membership.

I don't miss the paper versions.

Since I'm a LM of the ANA I receive the Numismatist every month. I also suscribe to Coin World which is much smaller than it used to be but still has some nice articles every week.

Although it might be a little thin, I like Canadian Coin News. Yes, its main focus is canadian but it has a lot more.

There is more information about PCGS certified coins in my articles on CoinWeek than in all articles combined that are published in Coin World, Numismatic News, CoinAge Magazine and The Numismatist. As this is the CU-PCGS forum, it seems appropriate to post about where readers may find articles that extensively cover PCGS certified coins.

CW, Coinage and NN....they are perfect 'throne' magazines image I get The Numismatist for my serious read. Don't get me wrong, there are some great articles in my 'throne' room, also.
    I'll come up with something.

My issues Coin World come in a nondescript, sealed, bluish plastic cover. This costs more, but I think discretion is best.
I used to subscribe to Numismatic News, but let it lapse because of its low information content. I get journals with my membership dues (see below
for society acronyms) and do read these. I don't bother with Coinage or Coins because they don't have articles of interest to me (they seem to
    cater to beginners).

I take Coin World monthly price guide edition, Coins Magazine (w price guide), Bank Note Reporter. I get the L&C pricelist free which is a good reference for retail pricing also. Beyond that I don't have time for any of them. The goal is to keep fixed OH cost at a minimum. The two coin publications are about $20 a year and BNR about $40 a year.

Of course I take CDN greysheet and greensheet, Coin Facts, etc.
