<< <i>I posted this one in another member's thread a while back....I just dug its look....at that time I didn't own it but now I do.
Pinnacle's description and pics below:
Awarded the coveted ‘Star’ by NGC, this well deserving specimen exhibits considerable cameo contrast and subtle peach toning with a violet crescent at the eastern rim. A sensational looking example hailing from a small mintage of just 875.

I agree...it is ALL about the coin with this one. Plastic is about non existent . BUT, if it were to be sold, I sure would like to see that in a PF65 + in our hosts plastic (that's just so no pennies get left on the table, but, as she is, even in a 'star' holder from ATS, it won't leave many on the table anyway). With the 'star' desig, she's pretty much fine where she sits. That is a beauty coin, SS!!! There's been a number of beauty coins being shown out here lately! Thanks to all of you who are sharing these beauties!

<< <i>That is a very nice dime. Love the hues. Any guesses as to what it was kept in to cause it to tone so uniquely? >>
I'm not certain!
