Joey bought it for $1,275 a week ago and is now flipping it for a $25 loss. It's his MO - buy really expensive cards and immediately dump them for less. I'm not sure if it's a credit card scam or an attempt to build up eBay bucks, but this business model has long confused me.

Nice catch Shooty...Joey Farino aka joeyf, sam1952, italianz31, mantlefan, jbooge, banderson77787, jseph1981, banderson, and pregnantdeadgrandmother. Beware of this guy. Best to only buy from him and use pp with your credit card. Do a google search and you will see his past is very shady from cards to comics to autographs and rare metals.

Wrigley- Mr stalker I meam Mrmint is the LAST person you should listen to. Ask him how many cards he bought from me. Also he loves to make wild accusations and accuse me from everything from money laundering to the jfk assasination. I have every record of every purchase and sale ive ever been involved in. Never have I once been involved in any illegal activity. I sell MY cards for what I want and have never once been accused by anyone ive sold to for fraud.I always send priority with tracking info and if any card I ever sold was fake I would provide a full refund but that has and will NEVER be the case. Mrmint is still mad after 2 yrs becaise i almost didnt sell him my 54 bowman ted williams and he was acting like a b**ch so i sold it to him anyways. I have never once seen any proof that I ever ripped anyone off and have sold alot of my cards to members on here with no problem at all

Buying from you is not the problem...Selling to you is the problem. You have not received a negative on Ebay because sellers can not leave negatives but they have left plenty of false positives. Where there is smoke there is a fire. In this case the smoke is as thick as Fog in San Francisco Bay.

I refunded him $650 for the R315 Ruth he bought from me due to supposed employment problems on January 11th. Now he is bidding and winning expensive items on ebay.

Anyone dealing with him, I say beware.

I asked him why he is bidding on these and winning some and his reply was that he was bidding for a friend of his friend gives him the cash.

I have one question. I neither know you, or the guy you are arguing with. I have no clue who either of you are.

But I do have a question.

Why did you buy a Cobb for around $1,200.00 on ebay recently, and you are now trying to sell it for $1,150.00 on these boards.

I don't understand why someone would quickly turn around that fast to try to sell.

My only guess is that you perhaps thought you could get the crease and stain off the Cobb (which I'm not going to debate whether that's ethical or not, because I could care less), and found out you couldn't, or there's some other valid reason why you're doing this.

If you're so inclined to offer the truth about the situation, I would be interested.

Whenever I see things for sale on this board, I always go and check ebay first and look at completed auctions.

I get a little weirded out when I see someone selling a card they just bought. That's just me I guess.

That Cobb is a great PSA 2. I was thinking of getting it off you. Let me see if my snipes fail tonight, and I'll get back to you.

I guess it's none of my business, but I just don't understand why someone will buy and sell something that quickly for about the same price or for a loss.
