PCGS MARKETING OF LABELS

SteveSteve Posts: 3,312 ✭✭✭
I have been sick and tired waiting to purchase my annual Lincoln cent proof coin. Forget the fact that for four years now PCGS has chosen to put the shield reverse on the front of the holder after showing Lincoln on the front for every year from 1909 thru 2008. Now we have the BS of so called "first strike" and "birth year" being the ONLY available options on labels. (at least for the first batch). So, ALL THE DEALERS now can only offer their customers the "first strike" label. I want the plain new blue label for my set registry. I'm sure I will eventually be able to get it later this summer, but it is a shame that we have to go thru all this BS. Look at the reduced populations and the reduced selling prices in the past few years. This kind of marketing isn't working. My interest is in Lincolns, but I believe this issue also involves other denominations of coins made since 2010. Sorry for the rant. Steveimage
