  they've already been hard at it: (when i say "they", i mean whomever is making them)
  
  artificially toning
  artificially circulating
  artificially damaging (plenty of people will still buy a $5k coin that has heavy damage for a few hundred bucks and a few hundreds goes a long way in a lot of places)
  etc
